Nicholas Campanellas

June 30, 1948 - October 23, 2002

Mr. Nicholas (Nick) Campanellas, 54, of Richmond, VA died on October 23, 2002. He is survived by his mother, Anne S. Campanellas; two sisters, Dora Everett and Libby George; four nieces; one nephew and seven great nieces and nephews. Nick was a retired employee at Nabisco and a devoted member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral where he was a forty year member of the choir, a member of its cemetery board and a former secretary of the church's Board of Directors. His love for his church was unparallel. The family will receive friends at the Bliley Funeral Home's Central Chapel, 3801 Augusta Ave., from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a Trisagion service at 8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Choir at St. Helen and Constantine Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Malvern Ave., Richmond, Va. 23230.
